Tater is a 4 month old DEAF Australian Cattle Dog, aka "Blue Heeler". He will benefit from training using hand signals since he can't hear.

 

This animal is located at Rio Rancho Animal Control, 3441 Northern Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM.To reach the shelter from Albuquerque, take I-25 to Paseo Del Norte. West on Paseo to Coors. North on Coors to the Coors Bypass, connecting to Hwy 528. North on Hwy 528 to Northern Blvd. West on Northern to the city shelter.


Animal Control is open M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sat 10-5. Closed Sunday and Holidays.

Adoption fee $89 city residents, $85 non-city residents. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, parvo/distemper vax, rabies vax, and city license if a Rio Rancho resident. If already neutered, adoption fee is $44 city residents, $40 non-city residents.
