Ohio ~ DEAF Chocolate Lab Needs Rescued by Monday!

A man called me and said that he has had this chocolate lab a little over a week after she wandered onto his property. She is totally housebroken and very friendly. He can't keep her any longer, he said, and he is taking her to the shelter on Monday, but agreed to give me until then to see what I could do.

She appears to be deaf, he said.

He said if it wasn't for his other dog he'd keep her. She likes his dog but his dog is throwing a fit that she is there. He said she doesn't seem to have any issues whatsoever.

If you know of someone looking for a nice Chocolate Lab (and doesn't mind that she is deaf) please let me know! We will hook you up with him.

She looks like a real cutie!

Daisy Really Needs You!
Although we're aware that the holidays have just passed and the credit card bills are coming in, this is an urgent plea for help, and a reminder that every donation, no matter how small, will insure a greater chance of a happy ending for a beautiful, loving animal who really needs us at this time:
This is Daisy. She was rescued by a compassionate family after being brutally attacked in this family's neighborhood. She has suffered serious burns, and her leg has been sliced open to a degree that it must be amputated.
The family who brought us Daisy would love to provide for her, but they cannot afford to do so.
When she has recovered, Daisy will be ready for a new, forever home. Although she's been through more than any creature should be expected to tolerate, and despite the inhumanity shown her prior to her rescue, Daisy has put forth NO complaints!
Even now, this sweetheart loves to have her belly rubbed!

She will make a great companion and a loving best friend for anyone looking to add an "indoor only" cat to their household.
But in order for this to happen, we must restore Daisy's health. The cost of her surgery will be $550, but her aftercare in-hospital is likely to exceed $2,500.
Rest assured that while Daisy's tormenters are unknown, we are doing everything we can to find them and yes, we will seek justice.
Thank you so very much for helping us at this time, and for ringing in this new year on a note of tender compassion.

We are reaching out to you to help save her.
Please make donations to

Feral Cat Alliance!
Please mention that the donation is for Daisy.

SE of DAllas, Special needs lab. A big black love bug, Fred needs your help.

Fred is such a love! He has either suffered a head injury or has had a
stroke of some sort.Still he is young and full of life.He has to make right
turns to get to you. But does well with getting around. Loves being around
people and other dogs. Likes being in the house ands seems to be house
trained. But the meaning of bull in a china cabinet, well he bumps into
things,he tries so hard not to.He loves to run around (and round) in the
yard on nice days.
We know he has Lab in him. (web feet) and something.
He is not hard to care for,but craves so much attention. He was just
neutered and has his shots. 1/9/07.

Bucyrus, OHIO - "BUSTER" - Sharpei/Chow (?) mix - LAME dog

Buster was left in our night drop with no information. He has got
to be one of the most gentle and trusting dog ever brought here. He is
housebroke and friendly to everyone and likes other dogs. He has the
most expressive eyes and just loves to be petted

He is unable to put any weight on his back leg. We believe this to
be an old injury and he does not appear in any pain at all. He gets
around just fine, he just can't run.

Due to his size and breed mix he will not have much of a chance at this shelter. Please contact me immediately at nlwiseman@yahoo.com (@yahoo.com) if you can help him.

BEAGLES - 1 is injured & 1 BEAGLE/BASSET Cherry Eye

2 beagles, they still need rescue.
1) There is another beagle needing rescue too. She is
injured badly. We have had her at the vet for a
week.
She has a broken jaw, numerous punctures, and we
don't think she has any use of her tongue at the
moment. She will need continued vet treatment. I
know it will be hard, but despite all the pain she
must have been in, she still wags her tail! We are
calling her Hope.
2) Also, a beagle/basset w/ a cherry eye needs
rescue. He is heartworm negative, but tested positive for
Lyme's Disease.

Thanks so much for all your help!
Sarah

Dear Friends,
A person found a cream and tan male Lhasa Apso wondering around

was very hungry. He is scared but not aggressive. He really needs a
foster home. Mostly Mutts will pay for shots, worming and grooming.
I am pretty sure that he is neutered, though it is hard to tell
through all the mats!! Contact me if you can help him. WAGS!!
