L.A., California - Cat's leg burned to ash, sliced open, no suspects - vet care $$ needed

A cat named Daisy was rescued by a compassionate family after being brutally attacked in their neighborhood. She has suffered serious burns, and her leg has been sliced open to a degree that it must be amputated.

When she has recovered, Daisy will be ready for a new home.

The cost of her surgery will be $550, but her aftercare in-hospital is likely to exceed $2,500. To make a donation to Stray Cat Alliance towards Daisy's care, click here or send checks or money orders to:

We have forwarded this case on to the larger animal welfare organizations in the hopes to get a reward fund established, but anything anyone can do to help with the vet care would be wonderful.

Please cross-post widely.
