10/11 hbc , unable to use hindlegs , has possible pelvic injury.
dog in pain .

VET INFO:

safe 10/12 Afe finding's; suspect HBC, painful in
hind leg, depressed, EENT pink/ moist <2 sec, clear au/ou, H/E wnl, Abs;
wnl M/S, Bcs 4/9 normal hydration, able to satnd briefly but weak &
painful in hind limbs, painful w/ palpation of pelvis on hip
manipulation, int. abrasion on hindleg
R/O pelvic fx's
buprenex 0.3 ml
iv
pelvic rads; minimally displaced right acetabulum fx & pubic
fx.
fxs will likely heal w/ cage rest. PE may develope, arthritis in the
right hip
rimadyl 20mg sq
return to shelter to look for owner
Rimadyl
18.75 mg po bid x 7 days
10/13 PE: QARH; very painful in hind end when
manipulated but able to stand and walk; mm pink; EENT OK; H/L clear; NSF
abdominal palpation; LN WNL; flea-infested.
Tx: Buprenorphine 0.3 ml

gave rimadyl orally -- refused to
